The Castle Pines North Metropolitan District (CPNMD) Board of Directors passed a resolution supporting the City's 2F ballot question earlier this month.
2F asks voters to support 12 mills for the City to manage public parks, trails, recreation, and open space. A majority of local metropolitan districts would then permanently reduce 12 mills of their property tax collection, transferring those mills to the City from the metro district.
Per the resolution, the CPNMD Board of Directors "supports this Ballot Measure and believes it to be in the best interests of the District and the community resulting in lower taxes and more efficient parks, recreation and open spaces."
