Castle Pines Rueter-Hess Day

As of August 9, registration for this event is at capacity. Per Rueter-Hess Reservoir regulations, only 150 vehicles are allowed to participate in the free resident days.
Join us for a FREE day of fun water-based activities at the Rueter-Hess Reservoir. From fishing to stand-up paddle boarding, there's a variety of activities for everyone to get out and explore the reservoir. Advanced registration is required as a limited number of spots are available. The free day for Castle Pines residents will run from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 24.
Event highlights:
- Free access to Rueter-Hess Reservoir for Castle Pines residents who register.
- Activities include hiking, stand-up paddleboards, kayaking, and fishing.
- You can bring your own kayak or stand-up paddleboard or reserve a rental (scroll down to the purple Castle Pines reservation section) for August 24 through the local vendor SurfSUP.
